PathwayWorld statistics

The public database used for the Microarray data source is "Gene Expression Omnibus".
346 datasets are analysed including Agilent and Affymetrix arrays.
More than 1200 pathways are made through the automated pipe line.
Analysed microarray data are from human, rat and mouse.
The pathways are taged with more than 79 disease tags, 37 tissue/organ tags, 12 physiology tags.

The web site will feature a set of different resources covering various aspects of pathway and biological network analysis. The features of the web site can be subdivided into the following categories:

Datasets: Interactions network from up or down-regulated genes derived from hundreds of analyzed microarray datasets pertaining to diseases and development. Page will be updated every month.

Literature: Will feature expert opinions and guest columns from a panel of relevant scientists. It will also host the editor’s choice of article of the month, which will be a pioneering publication in the field. Web links will be provided to all relevant publications, subject to the editor’s discretion. Reader will find this site useful to be up-to-date on the current work in the field and familiarize with the emerging concepts of network biology.

Resources: Will contain several resources for scientists in genomics field.

Events: List of current events, seminars, workshops and conferences.
